Terms of Service

1. Using the platform

You may browse the directory freely. To submit an app or upvote, you must sign in. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that occurs under it.

2. Submitting apps and content

Overlume is a community directory. When you submit an app you may provide links to third-party apps and websites, along with text and uploaded images such as screenshots. You are solely responsible for the content you submit, and you confirm that:

• You have the right to submit the link, text, and images, and that doing so does not infringe any third party’s intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;
• The app and any linked destination do not contain malware, spyware, phishing, or other malicious or deceptive functionality;
• The content is not illegal, fraudulent, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or otherwise harmful, and does not misrepresent who you are or who built the app;
• You will not spam the directory, manipulate votes, or submit duplicate or misleading listings.

By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content on the platform for the purpose of operating the directory.

3. Moderation and removal

We review submissions and may approve, reject, edit, or remove any submission at any time, with or without notice, at our sole discretion — including content we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly or seriously breach these Terms.

4. Third-party apps and links

Apps listed in the directory are created and operated by third parties, not by Overlume. We do not control, endorse, or guarantee any third-party app or linked website. You access them at your own risk and subject to their own terms and privacy practices.

5. No warranty

The platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform or any third-party app listed on it.

6. Reporting abuse

If you find a listing that is malicious, infringing, or otherwise violates these Terms, use the Reportbutton on that app’s page to flag it for review. Reports go to a human moderator and nothing is removed automatically. We aim to review reports promptly and will take action where appropriate.

7. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
