Vertical gain and grade for trail runs, no looking down at a watch

A trail-running HUD that surfaces live grade, elevation gained, and distance to the next switchback marker you've dropped. Built it for fell races where I kept missing my watch on technical descents. Dark layout so it floats over the trail on the 600x600 display.
Strength set timer that counts your rest so you don't doomscroll
Current direction and slack-water countdown for sea kayak training
Power, cadence and zone from your bike's ANT+ bridge, glanceable

Would love if the dropped switchback markers persisted between runs so I could reuse a route I scouted. Right now they reset when I close it. Otherwise the floating-over-trail layout is lovely in low light.
Good catch, it's raw barometric delta right now so it twitches on broken ground. Adding a 5-second rolling smooth on grade in the next build; elevation-gained already uses it.
Grade reads great on a steady climb but on the Andes scrambles mine flickered between 11% and 16% over a few seconds. Are you smoothing the grade at all, or is it raw GPS elevation deltas?
The next-marker distance is the part I didn't know I needed. On the Garmin I'd be scrolling data screens at exactly the moment I shouldn't. Having +412 gained and 0.6 km to the next drop sit there at once is right.
