Two currencies, one number, no app-switching at the counter

A stripped-down currency converter for travel. Pick a pair once, then it just shows the rate and a quick conversion ladder. Rates refresh over wifi and cache so it still reads offline. No keyboard needed — steps are preset amounts.
One ticker, your portfolio, glanceable on the walk to work
Glance down, see who owes what after dinner
Your daily spend allowance, the only number that matters today

Good call — the timestamp goes amber past 24h in the build I'm testing now, and red past a week, since the offline cache was the whole point and silently-old rates defeat it.
How stale does the cached rate get offline? On a long flight I'd want to know if the number I'm reading is from this morning or three days ago — maybe color the timestamp once it's over a day old.
The EUR→NGN ladder is exactly the view I wanted at the bureau — seeing 5 / 20 / 100 preset rows means I don't do mental math at the counter. The '6m ago' freshness stamp is a nice touch of trust.
